Winter Sports Information

Basketball – Adolescent 1

Fee: $65

Coaches: Laura Stickney and Jacob Vraa

Practice: begins December 6 and will be held every Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 at the Minnehaha Recreation Center through February 17.

Players must have all A1 Basketball forms and A1 Basketball Parent/Guardian Agreement completed and paid fees by Friday, December 2.

Games:
Games will be held on Fridays at various locations around St. Paul.

Varsity Basketball – Adolescent 2 & 3

Fee: $125 per player
Players must have all paperwork/money in before they attend practice.  Please check the Forms tab for current forms.

Practice

Practice begins on November 21 at Twin Cities Academy from 4:45 to 6:45 daily unless there is a game. TCA is located at 835 East 5th St. in St. Paul.

Home games: Wellstone Magnet, 1041 Marion St., St. Paul

First Game is on December 1 at home versus Learning for Leadership Academyu

Varsity Cheerleading – Adolescent 2 & 3

Fee:

Practice:  Cheerleading practices will be at Twin Cities Academy (835 5th St. E. in St. Paul)  unless otherwise noted. Practice times will vary based on the Basketball game schedule. If there are any questions, please contact Coach Dionne or check announcements.

Requirements to be on the cheerleading squad:

  • a student in grades 9 – 12 at either Twin Cities Academy or GreatRiver School
  • have at least a 2.0 GPA
