Spring Key Experiences
Bike training for A1 students
This spring, all GRS students will participate in Key Experiences. Integral to the ongoing curriculum, these key experiences combine to create a comprehensive 6-year program that provides experiential learning outside the classroom walls. Through these experiences, students develop as individuals by practicing independence, learning self confidence and deepening relationships.
Adolescent 1 – Bike trip to Wisconsin. Bike orientation meeting is Tuesday, May 1 at 6:30 PM. Bike trip is Tuesday, May 29 to Saturday, June 2.
Adolescent 2 & 3 – Spring intensives – May 29 – June 6. Intensives provide opportunities to delve deeply into an area of interest including geocaching, working with Habitat for Humanity, metal smithing, Shakespeare scenes, geology and photography, exploring Minnesota’s past and present in various locations around MN and others.
Senior Class Bike Trip: The senior class will spend their last days together on a 5-day bike trip from May 29 to June 1. Information has gone home to all A2 & A3 families about these activities. Click here for senior bike trip information.
