GRS visitors to Bangladesh

Melanie Peterson-Nafziger, A3 teacher and IB coordinator, and Aimee Vue, GRS junior, departed for a month-long trip to Bangladesh in South Asia Saturday morning (12/15). They are going there with the American Youth Leadership Program to participate in cultural exchange with Bangladeshi host families (30 American students are matched with 30 Bangladeshi students), and to investigate the effects of and possible solutions to climate change.

Follow their Bangladesh trip on these two blogs during the next month! They will be posting photos, videos, stories and reflections throughout the month. Aimee is helping to write for the AYLP (American Youth Leadership Program) blog, and Melanie is blogging for both the AYLP blog and the Reach the World blog (along with 5 other American students). They started posting new posts after their weekend flight to Paris (France), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Dhaka (Bangladesh)!
