Open Houses/Tours

We encourage you to visit Great River School to see the building, meet the people involved and see for yourself what our 1 – 12th grade Montessori school is all about.

Attending an Open House is a great way to learn more about how our school operates, talk to students and faculty and get your questions answered by administrators.

Scheduling a tour during the school day will give you the opportunity to see the school in action.  You will have the opportunity to visit each level, get a quick view of classrooms in action and get a good feel for the school.  A tour includes some time for discussion and questions before a walk through of the facilities.

While Open Houses are the best way to learn about our school, it is also possible to schedule a tour of the school during the day on Thursday.   The tour takes approximately 20 minutes, but allow an additional 15-20 minutes for discussion before the walk through.  If you would like to sit in on a class, please make that known so we can make appropriate arrangements.  We normally schedule tours on Thursdays at 10 am and 1 pm to minimize classroom interruptions but can make other arrangements if necessary.
