TCA/GRS is a member of the Eastern Minnesota Athletic Conference and a Minnesota State High School League recognized school. GRS/TCA Tigers teams will be competitive, open to grades 7-12. To register, you must complete the forms via computer during the registration window prior to each season, you cannot complete them on a phone. See the charts below for a summary of each sport and details. All students participating in our High School Athletic offerings are required to have a sports physical every three years and a copy of that physical must be on file in our main office.

List League are sports for GRS students in grades 5 through 8. Registration information will be shared through the GRS Heron Huddle. For questions around list-league sports, contact bigcanoe@greatriverschool.org.

MSHSL (MN State High School League) are co-ed or single gender sports as a part of our school co-ops with other charter schools. If your athlete has multiple years of experience and is further along in terms of skill development, and wants higher competition, MSHSL teams would be a good fit.

LIST (League of Independent Sports Teams) sports are beginning to intermediate co-ed sports experiences offered to students at GRS in grades 5-8. If your athlete is new to sports with minimal experience, LIST is the way to go, as it highlights beginning athletes that are new to sport and those not looking for extreme competition.
