LIST (League of Independent School Teams) is a consortium of private and charter schools that organize co-ed sports, including soccer, basketball and volleyball, specifically for middle schools in the Twin Cities. The mission of LIST is to introduce students to these sports in a manner that is intentionally co-ed and cross grade-level. Participation and fair conduct is encouraged over competition. LIST also encourages teams to practice only once or twice a week, with games every Friday. Students are exposed to the experience without it becoming overwhelming or all-encompassing. Great River School partners with Twin Cities German Immersion School to form LIST League teams.
To be eligible for LIST Athletics:
- Have a current sports physical on file with GRS (expires every 3 years).
- Pay appropriate registration fees at the beginning of the season. Please make checks out to Great River School.
- Sign a Liability Medical Release form.
- Read and abide by the Code of Conduct form.
LIST Coordinator: Michael Rausch - Contact by email at email@example.com
Transportation for LIST Sports: Great River is not able to offer transportation for LIST league sports. Students generally carpool to games and practices and several students ride the bus to practices at West Minnehaha Rec. Center.
